On top of the Empire State Building, 1998.

I began this blog to be a record of my creative and family life, as well as my evolution as a soul journeying through this lifetime.  As a mother of five and avid crafter, there is much to document! It has quickly become a journal that encompasses all the elements and interests of my life.

I believe strongly in embracing all of life – both the darkness and the light. My biggest hope for others who follow my journey is that they find something here which acknowledges aspects of their own life.

In addition to being a sometime homeschooling, busy mother, I am a fibre artist and craft teacher to both adults and children. I follow many aspects of anthroposophy and my children attend a Steiner (Waldorf) school.

I am currently finishing and eighteen month term as Editor of Birthings magazine, the Sydney Homebirth community quarterly publication. My written work has appeared in Practical Parenting magazine and on the www.pregnancy.com.au website.

My craftwork has appeared in the Sydney showing of 101 Vaginas and can be seen at www.littlefeltrainbows.com or www.etsy.com/shop/LittleFeltRainbows.
