I began this blog to be a record of my creative and family life, as well as my evolution as a soul journeying through this lifetime. As a mother of five and avid crafter, there has been much to document. It quickly became a journal that encompassed all the elements and interests of my life.
As I have entered my fourth decade, my purpose on earth is crystalizing before my eyes, getting clearer and more urgent every day. Yes, I love(d) blogging about my family and daily life, but my purpose is all about craft.
Craft is transformative and relaxing. It enhances brain development, builds confidence, and produces objects of beauty that can be treasured forever.
I am a fibre artist and craft teacher to both adults and children. I am inspired by nature, the seasons, natural materials and lots of color. I also write professional development courses for teachers (mostly on how to bring more craft to the classroom!), and I run a Steiner based playgroup for mothers and young children. I love supporting mothers, children, families and communities through craft and the expression of our innate creativity.
